compact digital cameras. Really what you pay?
I'm looking for a compact digital camera to take – nothing fancy Photos common pocket-sized less than 200 €. Looking through catalogs, esp Argos does not seem to be very little difference between the characteristics of 70-80 € € and 150 +. Is it worth spending the extra money? Thanks
The problem with digital cameras is that the things that really are not very easy to quantify care consumer. The recovery of a camera has a lot to do with the image processor inside the sensor and the quality of the lens. However, it is difficult to assign a so meaningful to people rather than marketing pushed the measure of a megapixel camera. It's much easier to compare 10MP 8 megapixels to compare an image processor 2 image processor, megapixels do not even really mean squat. So the sad truth is, usually get what you pay for Digital cameras, even when you give some statistics do not reflect the difference. That said, you may not even be able to tell the difference without a direct comparison images taken with two different cameras. Then it comes down to the final is how the camera feels in your hands and how this camera makes this kind of photography you want to do. Try some cameras, and if that is what feels best for you, then best is to be performed.
